Guideline 4.0 offers the possibility to integrate with Dassault Systémes CATIA V5: this speeds up the information exchange with CAD and helps user to gather all aspects related to the clamping in one single environment, increasing the workflow effectivness and saving time. To properly configure the integration, please refer to the installation manual.

Guideline 4.0 supports .CATpart and .CATproducts files, being able to open them and export clamps in that format.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: integration requires that both Guideline 4.0 and CATIA V5 are installed witha valid license while opening CATIA models and exporting clamps. Once opened, 3D models can then be saved in .bly format and freely distributed throught the network.
