Guideline 4.0 offers the possibility to interface with Simens NX: this speeds up the information exchange with CAD and helps user to gather all aspects related to the clamping in one single environment, increasing the workflow effectivness and saving time. To properly configure the integration, please refer to the installation manual.

Guideline 4.0 supports .prt files, being able to open them and export clamps in that format.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: integration requires that both Guideline 4.0 and Siemens NX are installed with a valid license while opening NX models and exporting clamps. Once opened, 3D models can then be saved in .bly format and freely distributed throught the network. Please, refer to Guideline 4.0's Installation Guide (available at this link) for preparation steps in installation.
