During the stacks’ placement, Guideline analyzes the interfence that the component or the tool geometry may have with part of the workpiece that are supposed not to be modified, particularly holes, cooling, figure etc.

It is possible to set the minimum distance (Interferenca Clearance) to be respected (see Piece Settings).

In case of violations, the software highlights the stacks involved by changing their color to orange.


IMPORTANT: Guideline does not suggest any solution to the problem, since this requires critical analysis by the designer. As an example, possible solutions are to delete the stack and place it somewhere else, reposition the piece or even modify it.


As a reference, small red dots identify the closest point(s) violating the clearance.


To evaluate the interfence and the area around, press "Clip Around Breils" either from the main toolbar or fro the body's contextual toolbar



Guideline isolates the stack's area. Evaluated volume can be enlarged using the sliders.


While in clipping mode, it is possible to Display Tools and make distance mesurements:
