Guideline 4.0 library of FCS Components is fully customisable to reflect the company's warehouse and components available.

Some of the functionalities of Guideline 4.0, like interference check and CAD-CAM export, rely on the seats geometry (tools) included in its library. If, in your workshop, you use different seats’ geometry than the FCS reccomended standard, it may be the case that you want to implement those geometries in Guideline for those functionalities to be working: you can do it following the procedure listed in the next topics.

IMPORTANT NOTE: in this release it is possible to modify tools’ geometry, but not to implement alternative ones. In other word, if you use different dimensions alternatively (i.e. rods in 2 alternative lenghts) for the same size, that cannot be managed in Guideline at the moment. You should implement in Guideline the one better fitting your specific needs (the largest, the one you use more often etc.) and manage the other cases off line (modifying the geometry in CAD, writing a note in the documentations).

BCK Solutions is at your disposal to help you working out your case and define the most efficient approach.
